My research and teaching focus on media education, particularly in relation to ageing and older people. I am especially interested in media and digital literacies, digital competences, and robot literacy. I have conceptualised and developed media literacy geragogy and contributed to the development of teacher education. In my work, I apply design-based research approaches.
